GSTAAD
is an upscale resort town in the Bernese Oberland region of the Swiss Alps. Cable cars connect surrounding ski areas such as Wispile, Eggli and Rinderberg, with hundreds of kilometers of all-level pistes and cross-country trails.
Glacier 3000 even offers nearly year-round skiing. Even in summer, the wide, open landscape of the Saanenland region offers a wide range of sporting activities: Hiking, mountain biking, paragliding or golf. Wildwater rafting and canoeing adventures await on the river Saane and the natural paradises of Lake Lauenen and Lake Arnen are wonderful destinations for family excursions.
Cultural activities (Menuhin Festival, Open Air Theatre, Country Nights, Sommets Musicaux) or sports activities (Swiss Open Gstaad Tennis, Swatch Beach Volley Pro, Hublot Polo Gold Cup) are often organised.
